Melliodora Publishing offers titles by a number of aligned publishers and authors, allowing us to offer a larger range of titles while supporting permaculture practitioners. All orders are handled by our partners at PermaculturePrinciples.com

Conditions for free delivery within Australia

Delivery is offered for free within Australia for orders over AU$250, but:

  • You may need to provide a physical address instead of a PO Box for orders over 5kg.
  • Items may be dropped off by a courier company of our choice with Authority To Leave (no signature required).
  • You will need to provide clear instructions for an easily accessible drop off point that is protected from the weather.

Delivery Policy

We reuse boxes and packing material where appropriate – we love reusing packaging, and hope that you appreciate the extra effort that we make to reduce waste. It’s important to us that we apply the ethics that we talk about.

Goods are normally packed and posted to the delivery address that you supplied within 1-2 business days of the receipt of the order using Australia Post’s standard services. The full postage rate is automatically calculated according to the products that you’ve purchased – if you think that it’s wrong, let us know. No handling fee is charged.

Delivery within Australia can be typically be expected within 6 business days. There can be delays in postal services, if your purchase hasn’t arrived please allow an extra few days before contacting us.

International Orders

International deliveries may be sent by Air Mail or courier and can take 10+ business days. There can be delays in delivery that are outside of our control. If your purchase hasn’t arrived please allow an extra few days before contacting us. We may be able to offer better pricing on delivery using a courier service – see Interparcel for courier pricing using Seymour Victoria 3660 as your ‘from’ point.

Note that any fees or customs charges to release goods must be paid for by the customer. For example, duties are due on items valued above $400NZD in New Zealand (as at April 2017) – so be warned!


Digital goods can be accesses via a link that is sent to the email address that you provided after payment has been received. See our FAQ page for more information about digital downloads.

A full refund will be offered for any digital purchase that is unable to be opened or downloaded by the customer.

Return / Refund Policy

If a physical product arrives in a unacceptable state by the postal or courier service, then we ask that you provide a digital photo of the damage to the product upon delivery for assessment.

If the product does not arrive for some reason, we’ll aim to find the cause of the problem and resend the product as appropriate. If the incorrect delivery address was provided, and the goods cannot be returned, then the cost must be covered by the customer. If an incorrect address was supplied and the items were returned, then postage costs need to be paid for by the customer for the item to be resent.

An order can be cancelled, with a full refund, if it has not yet been sent.

It is the customers responsibility to provide a suitable delivery destination for physical goods, a suitable mail box or undercover area that is protected from the weather. Leave a note on your order if special delivery instructions are required and we will include this on your package.

If you feel that you have a legitimate complaint to make about a product or service please contact us, and we’ll do our best to address it.

Privacy Policy

We acknowledge and are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. Personal information is not collected unless it is necessary for me to carry out functions and activities as a retailer. I only collect such information by lawful and fair means and in an unobtrusive way.

Goods are dispatched from a small warehouse located nearby. You’ll find Richard or his partner Kunie riding their bike to the warehouse to fulfull orders on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
