Melliodora Wholesale offers the titles produced by Melliodora Publishing along with a number of aligned publishers and authors, allowing us to offer a larger range of titles while supporting permaculture practitioners.

Titles are available to the public and book trade at wholesale prices, with a minimum purchase of AU$180, and free delivery within Australia for orders over AU$350 (see conditions below). Firm sale on all titles with the exception of the Permaculture Calendar (sale or return).

*Conditions for free delivery within Australia

Delivery is offered free within Australia for orders over AU$350, provided the customer:

  • provides a physical address instead of a PO Box for orders over 5kg.
  • allows the order to be dropped off by a courier company of our choice with Authority To Leave (no signature required).
  • provides clear instructions for an easily accessible drop off point that is protected from the weather damage.

Delivery Policy

We reuse boxes and packing material where appropriate – we love reusing packaging, and hope that you appreciate the extra effort that we make to reduce waste. It’s important to us that we apply the ethics that we talk about.

Goods are normally packed and posted to the delivery address that you supplied within 1-2 business days of the receipt of the order using Australia Post’s standard services or a courier service. The full postage rate is automatically calculated according to the products that you’ve purchased – if you think that it’s wrong, let us know. No handling fee is charged.

Delivery within Australia can typically be expected within 3 – 5 business days. If your purchase hasn’t arrived, please allow an extra few days before contacting us.

International Orders

International deliveries may be sent by Air Mail or courier and can take 10+ business days, Sea Mail can take 1-3 months, depending on destination. There can be delays in delivery that are outside of our control. If your purchase hasn’t arrived please allow an extra few days before contacting us.

IMPORTANT: Fees or charges to release goods from customs must be paid for by the customer. For example, duties are often due on items valued above a certain amount – so be warned!

All orders are made in Australian dollars (AUD). International payments via credit card will incur fees from your banking institution. Check with your bank before purchase to avoid nasty surprises.

New Zealand (as at Nov 2023)

Customs do not collect any duty, fees or GST unless the value of your item/shipment is over NZ$1000. Customs will calculate GST based on the total of:

  • how much you paid for the item, plus
  • any international freight, postage and insurance costs, plus
  • any import duty.

Return / Refund Policy

If a physical product arrives in a unacceptable state by the postal or courier service, then we ask that you provide a digital photo of the damage to the product upon delivery for assessment.

If the product does not arrive for some reason, we’ll aim to find the cause of the problem and resend the product as appropriate. If the incorrect delivery address was provided, and the goods cannot be returned, then the cost must be covered by the customer. If an incorrect address was supplied and the items were returned, then postage costs need to be paid for by the customer for the item to be resent.

An order can be cancelled, with a full refund, if it has not yet been sent.

It is the customers responsibility to provide a suitable delivery destination for physical goods, a suitable mail box or undercover area that is protected from the weather. Leave a note on your order if special delivery instructions are required and we will include this on your package.

If you feel that you have a legitimate complaint to make about a product or service please contact us, and we’ll do our best to address it.

Financial data

All credit card data is processed by a fully compliant credit card gateway (eWay). We do not store your credit card information.

Accounts and user credentials

When logging into your account/s on our platform with details from other platforms (eg Google, Facebook etc), your credentials are securely authenticated with that platform provider. We are unable to see your login credentials and do not store them on our platform.

Privacy Policy

We acknowledge and are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. Personal information is not collected unless it is necessary for us to carry out functions and activities as a retailer. We only collect such information by lawful and fair means and in an unobtrusive way.

All orders from this website are handled by ‘Permaculture Principles’ based in Seymour, Victoria Australia.

Reduce bank fees, pay by direct debit

If you are an Australian customer, please choose to pay by direct debit to reduce fees. Log into your bank account and transfer the amount using your Order # as the reference so we can confirm payment has been made.
